World War I Crested China

Crested China war image souvenirs 1914-1919

In Britain, in the 1900-1930 period, people on vacation visited towns and beaches and bought souvenirs with the crest of the town they were in.  During World War I, instead of cute little ceramic flower pots, vases , shoes, etc., the souvenir makers created images of warships, tanks, searchlights, submarines, people at war, and much more, each with the crest of a town or village.
